Macau, China, May 20, 2018 – The enthusiastic Macau citizens and volleyball fans warmly greeted team members of China, Poland and Thailand as they attended the promotional event for the Volleyball Nations League at the famous landmark Senado Square on Sunday.
China players Liu Xiaotong, Hu Mingyuan and Yang Hanyu, and Thailand players Pleumjit Thinkaow, Ajcharaporn Kongyot and Chatchu-on Moksri signed volleyballs, which were presented to the organising committee and the sponsors.
Macau Sports Bureau president Pun Weng Kung, Macau Volleyball Association president Chan Mun Fong, GEG consultant Buddy Lam, China coach Lang Ping and coach Yuan Lingxi, Thailand coach Danai Sriwacharamaytakul and Poland team manager Krsysztof Zajac were also present at the promotional event.
The Macau pool starts on May 22 with Serbia playing against Thailand and China against Poland. The action will continue on May 23 with Poland facing Serbia and China meeting Thailand, and will conclude on May 24 with matchups between Poland and Thailand, and China and Serbia.
