The
opposite blocker Evandro is one of the many players which have started playing
in the extinct Banespa. In 1996, he joined the club and stayed until 2001.
After that, he transfered to Suzano, also from São Paulo. In his career he
still played for Santo André, Minas, Unisul and Cimed. In the 2008/2009 season
Evandro went abroad for his first time to play for Aris, from Greece. In the
next year, played for Castellana (Italy), where he stayed until 2011, when had
gone to Argentina. Back to South America, he played for Bolívar and UPCN before
coming back to Brazil to play for Sesi. With the national team, won the Grand
Champions Cup in 2013. In 2015, Evandro was one of the opposite spikers of
Brazil in FIVB World League and in the conquest of the South American title. In
2016 we was part of the team that won the gold medal in the Olympic Games of
Rio and the silver in the FIVB World League. In
2017, Evandro was part of the team that achieved the silver medal in the FIVB
World League.
