Get ready for more volleyball spectacles: bidding process opens for Age Group World Championships in 2025!

 

  • The bidding process for the Volleyball Age Group World Championships 2025 has opened

  • The categories are Girls’ U19, Boys’ U19, Women’s U21 and Men’s U21

  • The deadline to submit applications is 30 April 2024

 

The FIVB has opened the bidding process for the Volleyball Age Group World Championships 2025 in the following categories: Girls’ U19, Boys’ U19, Women’s U21 and Men’s U21.

Interested host cities and event organisers are welcome to submit their applications to volleyball@fivb.com by no later than 30 April 2024.

Each of these prestigious tournaments is held every two years, with a total of 24 teams per gender per event participating in the 11-day World Championships. The Boys’ and Girls’ U19 World Championships are set to be hosted in July 2025, while the Men’s and Women’s U21 World Championships will take place in August-September 2025.

The Continental Confederations are required to complete their respective Age Group Continental Championships, which act as qualifying events, in 2024.

A number of Olympic and World Champion athletes start their incredible journeys from these events, and we look forward to witnessing some future elite athletes on the international stage.”
