Brazil coach happy to add another win

Hiroshima, Japan, October 11, 2019 – Isac Santos scored 13 points as Brazil routed Tunisia 3-0 (25-17, 25-14, 25-13) at the FIVB Men’s World Cup on Friday.

Brazil coach Renan Dal Zotto: "I’m happy with the win. It is good to add another win. We did not start our regular members today and went with a different lineup. These players were eager to play. They want to improve their quality so they can become starters. They played with aggression and passion today. We are happy to get the three points."

Brazil player Mauricio Borges: "This was our second team today. We found a strong rhythm. We played well in all elements - service, defense, blocking and receiving."

Tunisia coach Antonio Giaccobe: "This was not their first six, but they played well. We didn’t feel the difference between their first and second six. It was hard to make one point against them. My opposite worked well today against them. We had difficulty against their blocks."

Tunisia captain Hosni Kara: "Brazil is a strong team. They are in first place. We did what we could. They are a strong opponent. Our reception was OK. Our defense had difficulty against Brazil. The result is a defeat, but I thought we played well."
