Did You Know

Had heart surgery in 2013 prior to her senior season at the University of Minnesota to enable her to continue playing volleyball
After successful 2015 FIVB World Cup and 2016 NORCECA Olympic Qualification Tournament and being a prime candidate for spot on 2016 Olympic Games roster, she suffered ACL tear in January 2016 while competing in Japan V-League and missed rest of season. Returned to action in summer of 2017.
Father David Dixon played 11 seasons in the National Football League (New England Patriots in 1992, Dallas Cowboys in 1993, Minnesota Vikings 1994-2004) and is the second player from New Zealand to compete in the NFL
Mother is Pamela Dixon and siblings are brothers Tahi and Kai, and sister Zealin
