France, Tunisia earn right to play at Tokyo 2020
Lausanne, Switzerland, January 10, 2020 – Tunisia became the first team to book one of the five tickets to Tokyo 2020, available through the continental Olympic qualification tournaments, by topping the standings at the event in Cairo. Shortly after, on Friday evening, France followed suit by winning the final of the European qualifier in Berlin.

Sokolov drives Bulgaria to spectacular tiebreak win over France
Lausanne, Switzerland, January 6, 2020 – Tsvetan Sokolov powered Bulgaria to a tiebreak victory over France in the first five-setter of the continental Olympic qualifiers on the road to Tokyo 2020. Serbia and hosts Germany were also victorious on the second competition day of the CEV tournament in Berlin, recording straight-set wins over the Netherlands and Belgium, respectively.

Kampa: We want to reward our fans
Berlin, Germany, January 6, 2020 - Germany celebrated their second victory in a row at the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin by defeating Belgium in straight sets 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 26-24) on Monday. Coach Andrea Giani's team now top CEV Men's Tokyo Volleyball Qualification Pool A with six points and a first victory against the Czech Republic on Sunday, while Belgium are still to claim their first victory. The top scorer of the match was again Georg Grozer, who contributed 22 points to the win.

Serbia captain Petric: We had great concentration
Berlin, Germany, January 6, 2020 - Serbia celebrated victory in Berlin to gain their first points in Pool B against the Netherlands. Serbian captain Nemanja Petric topped the scoring with 15 points and an average of 79 per cent successful attacks.
