Argentina, Kenya Tokyo-bound with first of week's continental Olympic tickets
Lausanne, Switzerland, January 9, 2020 - Argentina and Kenya picked up the South America and Africa tickets to the women's volleyball tournament of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, while in Europe Poland and Germany joined the Netherlands in the top four and in Asia the semifinal matchups were confirmed after Thursday's action in Olympic qualification tournaments across the world.

Dutch through to semis, Germans close in, at Europe Tokyo 2020 qualifiers
Lausanne, Switzerland, January 8, 2020 - The Netherlands clinched a
semifinal spots while Germany closed in on another and Turkey stayed
alive in Europe; Korea and Kazakhstan secured their their semifinals
berths in Asia; it's down to Colombia v Argentina in South America; and
Cameroon retained just a very faint glimmer of hope in Africa, as the
continental qualifiers for the last remaining berths to the women's
volleyball tournament of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games continued on
Wednesday across the world.

Dutch, Poles, Germans open European race for Tokyo 2020 with wins
Lausanne, Switzerland, January 7, 2020 - The Netherlands, Poland and Germany all scored convincing wins on the opening day of the European qualifiers for the women's volleyball tournament of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, while in Asia favourites Thailand and Korea; in South America Argentina and Peru also opened their campaigns with solid wins; and in Africa Kenya are now with one foot in the Olympics.

Kenya, Cameroon stay on collision course for Tokyo 2020
