Lausanne, Switzerland, November 14, 2019 - Some of the world's top players will be in action when the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship gets underway in just under three weeks from December 3 to 8.
Reigning champions VakifBank Istanbul are back. Their team has changed but still features a world-class cast, including Brazil star Gabriela Guimaraes. As the title-holders, they will be the team to beat in Shaoxing, China.
Also look out for exciting young Turkish player Ebrar Karakurt, who has powered her country to success on the international stage.

Crosstown rivals Eczacıbasi Vitra Istanbul will feature the likes of Serbia's Tijana Boskovic, who was recently voted Europe's Best Female Indoor Volleyball Player for the third year in a row.
Playing for Chinese club Tianjin Bohai Bank, recent FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup winner Zhu Ting will be another player to look out for.
Another star of the Chinese national team will play alongside Zhu at the Women's Club World Championship, namely Li Yingying.
And the two Italian clubs in the competition will also be lining up with some of the world's top players, including Paola Egonu, who will be key for Imoco Volley Conegliano.
