Lausanne, Switzerland, May 24, 2019 – One of the most talked about players in the Italian women’s national team, nineteen-year-old Elena Pietrini has already made her mark in the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Nations League in a week when Italy claimed wins against Poland, Thailand and Germany.
Last season she had a total of 81 spikes, seven blocks and 19 aces that were certainly impressive figures for a rookie. This year, she has her eyes set on victory at the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Nations League and will be one of the players to watch in Italy's strong frontline.
