Brazil call up women's team for 2019

 

Lausanne, Switzerland, April 18, 2019 - The Brazilian Confederation of Volleyball (CBV) confirmed a first list of women's players called up on Thursday for the FIVB Volleyball Nations League, the South American Championship, the Olympic qualification tournaments and FIVB Volleyball World Cup - all to take place in 2019. A presentation of this first group of players will be made on Monday in Saquarema.

The players were called up by Brazil women's coach José Roberto Guimarães, who will aim to lead his players to success at the second edition of the Volleyball Nations League, which begins on May 21. The Brazilians finished fourth in 2018. The South American giants will also aim to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games when they host Olympic Qualification Tournament Pool D in Belo Horizonte from August 2 to 4.
