Brazil adds four more players to men's roster

 

Lausanne, Switzerland, April 22, 2019 – The Brazilian national federation (CBV) announced on Monday the addition of four more players to the men’s national team roster.

Opposite Wallace De Souza, outside hitter Mauricio Borges, and middle blockers Mauricio Souza and Isac Santos were present at the national training facility in Saquarema in Rio de Janeiro for their first national team training.

The four national team regulars joined setters Eduardo Carisio, Fernando Kreiling (Fernando Cachopa) and Thiago Veloso (Thiaguinho), opposites Rafael Araujo and Felipe Roque, middle blockers Flavio Gualberto and Matheus Bishop, outside spikers Carlos Eduardo Barreto (Kadu), Henrique Honorato and Rodrigo Leao (Rodriguinho) and libero Maique Reis.

The group is preparing for the FIVB Volleyball Nations League, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic qualification tournament, the South American Championship and the FIVB Volleyball World Cup.
