Eder won the U17 World
Championship in 2001 and the U20 Pan American Championship right in the next
year. In 2003, he was on the Brazilian team who was third placed in the U20
World Championship. Four years later, participated in the World League – when Brazil
won it seventh title – and placed second in Americas Cup, same position
achieved by the team in the next year. In 2009, Eder helped Brazil win the gold
medal in the three competitions disputed: World League, Champions Cup and South
American Championship. He returned to the national team in 2011, becoming Pan
American Games champion and second place in the World League. In 2013, Eder
placed second in the World League and lift the South America Championship
trophy, besides the winning of the Grand Champions Cup. The midlle blocker was
runner up in the 2014 edition of FIVB World League and also achieved the silver
medal in the FIVB World Championship in Poland. In 2015, Éder was in the
national team that played the World League and was eliminated before the
semifinal. 2016 was especial for the middle blocker that helped Brazil to
achieve the gold Olympic medal and the silver in the FIVB World League. In
2017, he helped Brazil to achieve the silver medal in the FIVB World League.
