Isac Santos: "I did what I do best - jump and attack"

Goiania, Brazil, June 1, 2018 – Brazil middle blocker Isac Santos matched team-mate Eder Carbonera’s point output of 12 points to help his team beat Korea in straight sets in their FIVB Volleyball Nations League match at the Goiania Arena on Friday.

Brazil coach Renan dal Zotto: “This was a good start at home. We have seen today some players who didn’t play last week. It is important for us to grow as a team. We know that tomorrow and Sunday will be different matches but I am pleased with our consistency today.”

Brazil player Isac Santos: “The middle blockers made the difference today. Brazil have great players in this position and today I did what I do best – jump and attack. We were successful today playing with speed, with a good pass. That was crucial in this victory. The crowd was also spectacular today. They created a great atmosphere in the arena. We hope that this incentive will help us in the next two matches at home. It will be hard matches against Japan and USA.”
