Australia: A force to watch out for

Volleyroos looking at return to former glory days in 2021 VNL

In the first two editions of the FIVB Volleyball Nations League Australia may not have had the success they enjoyed previously in the FIVB Volleyball World League, but they remain a force to reckon with. They ranked 13th in the VNL in both 2018 and 2019. They had previously gone as high as 5th in the 2014 World League.

Most, if not all, of Australia's players will have spent the club season in Europe, honing their skill ahead of returning to the Volleyroos. Look out for the likes of libero Luke Perry who has picked up two Bundesliga titles in Germany with Berlin Recycling Volleys and spent the latest season in France with Tours VB.
