Stuttgart, Germany, June 12, 2019 – The German Schmetterlinge celebrated their third win in a row in the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Nations League by defeating the Belgium team 3-1 (25-21, 25-23, 24-26, 26-16).

German Coach Felix Koslowski said: "We are not thinking about the Finals at the moment. We had the control almost the entire match and made a great comeback after we lost the third set. We are still learning game by game."

Hanna Orthmann, German Wing Spiker and top scorer of the match with 24 points: "I´m happy with my performance today. We had a great game as a team which is very important for our development. The key to success was our serves. We put them under great pressure and led the score almost the whole match."

German Wing Spiker Jennifer Geerties added: "It was a great game marked with long rallies. We are enjoying the Volleyball Nations League and learn from every single match. Every win is important to gain more confidence which is quite good for a young team like us. Our group is still growing."
