The German Volleyball Association (DVV) announced its new, shoe partnership with US sporting goods manufacturer Nike.
The partnership will see Germany’s A and B national teams equipped with the latest Nike volleyball shoes sporting the globally recognised Nike Swoosh.
DVV President René Hecht said:
“We are very pleased to be working with Nike as our competition shoe partner. The brand is a perfect match for a sport like volleyball where both women and men are on an equal footing. I'm so excited about the new shoe collection in which our national teams will compete in.”
Jürgen Borkenstein, Global Sales & Marketing at Athlete Performance Solutions, the global footwear and apparel licensee of Nike Inc., said:
“We want to position ourselves even more firmly in the German market. With Nike volleyball shoes, we have already launched a successful product which enjoys great recognition. It is a great honour to follow a common path with the German Volleyball Association.”
