Carambula in World Tour form on Copacabana

Lausanne, Switzerland, February 5, 2020 – Adrian Carambula showed that he will be unleashing his most potent weapon when he returns to action on the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour.

Watch the video below to see the Italian polishing his ‘Skyball’ serve on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro and causing his opponents problems galore.

Carambula is familiar with Copacabana having played there alongside Alex Ranghieri at the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games.

The 31-year-old now plays alongside Enrico Rossi and they already have a World Tour medal under their belts having won silver at the Sydney 3-Star at the start of 2019.

They are just outside the qualification places for Tokyo 2020, but if Carambula can continue to cause opponents problems with his Skyball when the World Tour restarts, there is no reason why he won’t be doing the same at another Olympic Games.
