News 22/08/2019 Hovmann and Stormly extend winning run in Rubavu Rubavu, Rwanda, August 22, 2019 – After winning their qualification match on Wednesday, Denmark’s Nicolai Hovmann Overgaard and Jacob Cordua Stormly extended their winning run to three matches in the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Rubavu 1-star.Hovmann and Stormly opened their main draw campaign with a three-set (22-24, 21-19, 15-11) win over Japan’s Kensuke Shoji and Masato Kurasaka, then stretched their good run of form with a straight-set (21-5, 21-13) triumph over Cyprus’ Antonis Liotatis and Georgios Chrysostomou in the pool play round.In Pool B, England’s Javier and Joaquin Bello were consistent in both their matches, winning in straight sets to secure the quarterfinal spot.
