News 02/08/2019 Japanese duo Kaho and Reika reach Ljubljana quarterfinals Ljubljana, Slovenia, August 2, 2019 – Japan’s Kaho Sakaguchi and Reika Murakami dominated the group stage in women’s Pool D, joining three European pairs who advanced straight to the quarterfinals of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Ljubljana 1-star on Saturday.Kaho and Reika recorded straight-set victories over Cyprus’ Manolina Konstantinou and Mariota Angelopoulou (21-15, 21-17) and Slovenia’s Tjasa Kotnik and Tjasa Jancar (21-15, 21-17) in Pool D, where heavy rain halted the competition in Crnuce.“I am so happy that we made it directly among top eight teams. As for Saturday, I hope for more wins, we even want to go all the way to the end and win the tournament.
