Did You Know

  • Had heart surgery in 2013 prior to her senior season at the University of Minnesota to enable her to continue playing volleyball
  • After successful 2015 FIVB World Cup and 2016 NORCECA Olympic Qualification Tournament and being a prime candidate for spot on 2016 Olympic Games roster, she suffered ACL tear in January 2016 while competing in Japan V-League and missed rest of season. Returned to action in summer of 2017.
  • Father David Dixon played 11 seasons in the National Football League (New England Patriots in 1992, Dallas Cowboys in 1993, Minnesota Vikings 1994-2004) and is the second player from New Zealand to compete in the NFL
