Volleyball Teams Up With Winning DJs To Launch NERVO x VNL Collaboration

Lausanne, Switzerland, June 10, 2018 - Volleyball’s fan experience will reach new levels at the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) 10 June tour date in Ottawa, Canada, when a unique collaboration with Grammy award-winning Australian DJ duo NERVO is launched, featuring the global debut of their exclusive new track, “Worlds Collide”.
As part of a packed schedule of summer bookings, playing super-clubs from Las Vegas to Ibiza, NERVO will also play to capacity crowds of volleyball fans at both the men's and women's VNL Finals, starting with the women's edition in Nanjing on 27 June and then ahead of the men's final, at the culmination of this year's VNL tour, in Lille on 8 July.

Australian DJ duo NERVO have partnered with the Volleyball Nations League and will release a song as part of the collaboration.
"As Australians, we're no strangers to sport. But the party atmosphere of VNL matches is pretty special," said Liv Nervo. "The energy between the players and the fans has been at the heart of the collaboration, and we can't wait to be in Canada to add 'Worlds Collide' to the mix."

NERVO, twin sisters Mim and Liv, are the most successful female DJs in the world, having written and produced some of the biggest club tracks in recent years. Other NERVO collaborations have included David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Kesha and Britney Spears. NERVO also launched a ground-breaking Titties Titties Yeah (#TTY) breast cancer campaign, following their mother's diagnosis and successful treatment.

The VNL's collaboration with NERVO is another example of the FIVB's commitment to fan experience.
The VNL is a revolutionary new event where 16 nations go head-to-head in a round robin format, battling to become Volleyball Nations League Champion. The NERVO x VNL collaboration is another indication of the International Volleyball Federation's (FIVB) commitment to leading the way in fan experience. It has already showcased this by working with some of the world's leading organisations, including IMG and Microsoft. All televised content is now produced in-house, ensuring maximum quality for fans both in-stadium and across the globe. The league is also a celebration of gender equality, with the same format and prize money for both men and women.

NERVO will perform at both the women’s and men’s VNL Finals, and release their song “Worlds Collide” at the VNL pool matches in Ottawa, Canada on Sunday 10 June.
Fernando Lima, Secretary General of the FIVB said, "Sport and music are a fantastic mix as both deal with human creativity and capacity to engage with people. Volleyball has a global fan base and the VNL will provide a platform for great sport, alongside fantastic entertainment and an unforgettable fan experience. There will be an amazing party atmosphere and NERVO will be a big part of that. They are great ambassadors for our sport and 'Worlds Collide' is the perfect anthem for this competition."

Make sure you tune into the VNL on Sunday night to check out the first global play of "Worlds Collide". Follow all the action on the FIVB's Twitter and Instagram accounts @FIVBVolleyball and @NERVOmusic, and get involved in the conversation using the hashtag #NERVolleyball.
