Russia out to keep perfect record with Dominican Republic intact

 

Lausanne, Switzerland, June 9, 2018 - Russia face the Dominican Republic for the 14th time in history Tuesday in Walbrzych for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Nations League - and they have won every single one of their previous encounters.

Head-to-Head
• Russia (including as Soviet Union and CIS) have won all of their 13 world level major tournament matches against the Dominican Republic.
• The women's world level major competitions are: the VNL, Olympic Games, World Championships, World Cup, World Grand Prix and Grand Champions Cup.
• Russia have not met any other opponent more often in world level competition matches without losing than the Dominican Republic (13).
• The Dominican Republic have only played more world level major matches against Brazil (19) without ever winning than versus Russia (13).
