Modena, Italy, June 23, 2018 – USA suffered a 3-0 loss to Russia, but middle blocker Maxwell Holt and his team-mates are already looking forward to the Final Six of the FIVB Volleyball Nations League.
USA player Maxwell Holt: “Of course we are disappointed by the final result, but we’re also looking forward to the finals. It’s been a very long tournament and we’ve improved a lot as a team. I think we are at the same level as the other five teams and we can actually win the Final Six.”
USA player Kawika Shoji – “We are strong as any other team. We’ll return to the United States after tomorrow’s match. We will have a nice preparation and have a few resting days until we can recover and get ready for the finals.”
