Osaka, Japan, June 9, 2018 - Italy defeated Bulgaria 3-1 (25-23, 25-19, 21-25, 25-19) in the FIVB Volleyball Nations League on Saturday.
Bulgaria captain Viktor Yosifov said: "It was a difficult game and the Italy team played very well. We missed our chances."
Bulgaria coach Plamen Konstantinov said: "I thought the first and third set were good but the second and fourth set were as not good because of concentration on the long rallies compared to theItaly team."
Italy captain Filippo Lanza said: "We had a wonderful and close game today, which showed our game was really at a high level."
